All night they had stared at each other from across the ballroom floor, her and the groom's best friend. He motioned for the elevator and she followed.

Leaning against the wall, he smiled. "How long have we known each other?”

“A few years,” she replied.

“Why have we never kissed?”

“You never made a move.”

“Want me to make one now?”

She stepped forward, placing a hand on his chest. “Too late.”

Their lips met, lingered, met again. Maybe she was always the bridesmaid and never the bride, but as long as she got the best man, she didn’t care.

Very nicely done. So I'm wondering if she is the bride?

Being a bridesmaid is way better than being the bride. A bridesmaid can pick any entree for the night. The bride is stuck with the same dry chicken for the rest of her life. Great job you guys!!

Well, I for one am glad to see the Best Man get rewarded, after being forced to stand there and watch another one bite the dust when his Pal said I do. This is such a cool group, 12 different stories all based on the same picture. Great
